“ It was unexpected good. Got here Tuesday for lunch at 2.30, and place was full like Sunday lunch . Many locals. Delicious food, had white beans and sausage stew, and the baked cheesecake. Not open after 5, please do your research before you come. ”
“ Delicious, traditional, Riojas cooking served in a pleasant atmosphere with kind, attentive staff. Ruth helped us decipher the menu and her recommendations were terrific. The lamb chops brought to the table on a smoking brazier are a must-have as is another house special, menestra-- a "vegetable stew" that isn't pretty but sure is tasty! Just about every table in the restaurant had these dishes on both of our visits. The cod in the Riojana style and the solomillo de ternera (steak) also were awesome. Bring your appetite-- servings are generous and meant to share. Be sure to book-- this place is always full and they only serve lunch, but what a lunch it is! You may not even want dinner afterward. ”
